Dual Wall and Food Grade Aluminum Alloy ensures maximum strength, insulation, and performance. You have the option of using laboratory tested pre-determined decarboxylation settings for both processing time and temperature, or selecting your own preferences. Whether you use the designated predetermined setting or use the DIY settings, usage is a snap. The STX Activation 420 comes with a Fully Digital Control Panel for Time & Temperature. The default setting for the temperature is 250 °F which converts to approximately 226° F inside the unit core during processing and the default time is 1 hour about 20 min to heat up and 40 min of solid cooking time. There is then a cool down cycle, to ensure when you remove the lid and start to handle the canister is is safe to do so.
