Easy to install and it didn't have the bad smell when you first turn it on like the regular electric heating board has. The Cadet Softheat fits the bill perfectly for our newly transformed year-round Florida room. The unit heats the room evenly and the Comfort Setting makes it a hands-off process to maintain proper heat levels through out. I installed the unit myself and it was relatively simple. I will add here that the online Install video provided by Cadet gave me the information and thus the confidence to do the work myself.

I would recommend this unit to anyone who is planning a similar installation. Easy to assemble was able to wire either end. Thermostat works great with heat.

Attractive and sturdy housing appears well built. The heaters are not quick heat up they are meant to bring a room up to temp and keep it there. Of you need something to heat up a space quickly this is not it. It takes Hours to get space to temp but does maintain nicely once there, surface is only warm to touch.

I installed these in my basement where there had not been heat before and couldn't be happier. I installed two of the heaters and a thermostat in less than an hour.
