The wires coming out of the heater are way to short making it very difficult to wire in. Excluding the installation, this heater performs very well. Even though the cubic feet of my garage called for a 7500 watt heater, the lower setting of 4500 watts works well when outside temperature is in the 40's.

Previously kerosene was used to heat the garage. However, there were two problems involving kerosene use.

No matter how well the burner was adjusted on the heater, the CO2 levels could not be kept at a safe level. The fix to keep the levels of CO2 at safe levels was to open a door slightly and ventilate out with a fan. Now, with this new electric heater, I have peace of mind.

But it will heat the shop up into the 70's. I will be adding some fans up high to see if I can get the hot air down and increase it's efficiency. Only negative is they say to have 4.5 inches of clearance on the back wall but the bracket they give you doesn't give that clearance. Only way to do that is to build up the bracket mounting surface with 2x4 which looks obnoxious.
